MULMUL SHIRTS Mulmul or Muslin cotton is a fine weave of cotton which is super soft, skin friendly, light weight and hundred percent cotton. Mulmul is also referred to as ‘Woven wind’. It is inherently smooth and softens with multiple washes over time. The fabric is resistant to wrinkling and hypoallergenic. Mulmul is a versatile fabric and can be dyed easily and hence popular among fashion designing. It is the ultimate fabric for harsh summers as it is breathable, absorbs moisture and keeps the wearer cool during daytime and cosy at night. The fabric lives longer when washed in cold water using a gentle detergent. Hang mulmuls to dry naturally. Machine drying is not recommended. BLOCK PRINTS Block printed fabric is one of the most organic and beautiful fabric in the world. Block printing is a method of textile designing using a series of carved wood blocks to create beautiful and multi-coloured patterns on a variety of fabrics, the best ones being cotton or cotton linen. These blocks are carved by craftsmen using several types of knives with utmost skill and care. This alone is sufficient to mark the uniqueness of this technique. Block printing is the oldest and most time consuming textile manufacturing which explains why it is very expensive.
COTTON SHIRTS Cotton fabric is a completely natural fabric and is derived from the fibres surrounding the seeds of cotton plants. Cotton fabric is breathable, incredibly soft, durable, water resistant and does not possess any static problems. Cotton gets soft after washing however the fabric is prone to wrinkling, so it is better to line dry. You can wash the fabric in high heat but avoid keeping it in the dryer for a longer period. To iron cotton fabric it requires higher heat and more steam to release wrinkles. Cotton being breathable, is the most comfortable and desired fabric in hot and humid areas.
